How a pre-order works
You pay for the paperback by UPI on the pre-order page. On launch day (6 November 2026 for Nothing in the Blood) we order your copy on Amazon and have it delivered to the address you gave us. See Shipping and delivery.
Cancelling before launch day
You can cancel at any time before we place your order on Amazon. Email connect@ajaysinghtomar.com with your order reference (for example NITB-7K2QX) and we’ll refund the full amount. No questions asked, no fee.
Cancelling after we’ve placed your order
Once your copy has been ordered on Amazon we can’t stop it. If you no longer want it, you can refuse delivery or return it within Amazon’s return window, and we’ll refund you once Amazon refunds us.
If we can’t fulfil your order
You get a full refund, without asking, if:
- the release is delayed by more than [30] days and you’d rather not wait;
- the final paperback price differs from what you paid (the ₹399 price is tentative): we’ll email you before placing the order, and you can cancel or [pay/receive the difference];
- the book is out of stock or can’t be delivered to your PIN code;
- we can’t match your payment to an order (we’ll email you first to sort it out).
Damaged, defective or wrong books
If your copy arrives damaged, misprinted or isn’t the book you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with your order reference and a photo. We’ll arrange a replacement through Amazon or refund you in full; you won’t pay to return it.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the UPI ID you paid from, within [7] working days of being approved. We’ll email you the refund’s UPI transaction ID. If the payment can’t be returned to that UPI ID, we’ll ask you for another one.
Payments by mistake
If you paid twice, paid the wrong amount or paid without filling in the form, email us with the UPI transaction ID and we’ll refund the extra amount.
