The site and its content
The text, book covers, excerpts, sample chapters, photographs, the Ajara name and logo on this site belong to Ajay Singh Tomar and Dr. Rashmi Singh or the people who licensed them to us. You’re welcome to read, share links and quote short passages with credit. Please don’t copy, republish or sell them without our written permission.
The books are works of fiction or non-fiction as labelled. In the novels, names, characters, places and events are products of the author’s imagination or are used fictitiously.
We try to keep the site accurate, but book details, release dates and prices can change before publication. Prices marked “tentative” are not final.
Pre-orders
Who can order. You must be 18 or older (or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission) and have a delivery address in India.
Price and payment. The price is shown on the pre-order page in Indian rupees. You pay by UPI to the UPI ID shown there. We don’t take card, net-banking or cash payments on this site.
When the contract is made. Placing a pre-order is an offer to buy. The contract is made when we email you to confirm that we’ve matched your payment. If we can’t accept your order, we’ll refund you in full.
Delivery. On launch day we buy your copy on Amazon and have it delivered to the address you gave. Delivery, tracking and returns after that point follow our shipping policy, and Amazon’s terms apply to the delivery itself.

Your details. You’re responsible for giving a correct name, phone number and delivery address, and for paying the exact amount shown.
Book club and messages
The WhatsApp book club is run by us under WhatsApp’s own terms. Please be kind, stay on topic and keep spoilers out of the main chat until launch week is over. We may remove anyone who posts abuse, spam or anything unlawful.
Links to other sites
We link to Amazon, WhatsApp, Instagram and others. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that can’t be excluded. Beyond that, we aren’t liable for losses we couldn’t reasonably have foreseen, or for delays caused by events outside our control (such as strikes, natural disasters or delivery disruptions). If we’re responsible for a loss on a pre-order, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on the site when you place an order applies to that order.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute can’t be settled by talking to us first, the courts at [Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh] will have jurisdiction, subject to your right to approach a consumer commission.
